Hello, and thank you for checking us out! Before you enroll and pay for the program we offer, please read all the information on this page first, as I DO NOT offer a money-back guarantee. I don’t want you to spend your time and money on something that won’t benefit you. So please read the following information carefully, and if you believe this is something you would be interested in, welcome!

-What it is and what it is not-

First, this is not your typical boot camp. I will not teach you everything you need to know about cybersecurity. There are other programs for that. Since this program is specifically designed for individuals with minimal to zero technical background, potential clients will learn about governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) aspects of cybersecurity. That said, you will not learn how to break into a network or a system nor learn about analyzing traffic or malware. You will not learn about fixing network or system issues nor learn about coding or scripting. Instead, you will learn about security controls, information security policies, frameworks, and other concepts related to the GRC side of cybersecurity.

Second, finishing this program does not guarantee employment---just like finishing other courses or even a degree, in some cases, does not guarantee anything. It is still totally up to you and the effort you put into learning more and making yourself “attractive” to potential employers. What I can guarantee, however, is to provide you with the practical skills and information you need to get to the point of being “attractive.” In this program, you will learn some topics at a high level, but we will dive deep into topics that really matter in an actual work environment should you get hired for a related job.

Third, this program is not a preparation for cybersecurity-related certifications. The topics we will learn throughout the course will definitely help when you decide to take exams to get certified; however, for full transparency, this program is not that silver bullet. Again, the idea of this program is to teach topics from an actual work environment point of view and not from an exam perspective, where you need to learn different concepts to pass an exam.

Last, the creation of this course was inspired by an employee who wanted a career change. Though she had years of experience in another field, she could not get the cybersecurity-related job she wanted because the hiring manager could not afford to spend a lot of time training her to get her up to speed where she would feel comfortable performing the job.

So, if you are wondering if that employee was me, the answer is no. :) But I felt for that employee because I was once at a point in my life when I wondered if I could get a cybersecurity-related job. I did not know where to start, so I pursued a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, gained relevant certifications, got a job, then finished a master’s degree in cybersecurity and gained more certifications. I spent many years learning and spent a lot of money throughout my journey. Did I find everything I learned helpful? Probably. Was everything relevant in my current job? Absolutely not! Would I want that employee to spend a lot of time and money learning what she would only need to get all caught up? I’d say there should be a faster and cheaper way. Plus, you must be willing to keep learning if you are in this field. I learn every day, too.

So what now?

If you still feel that this is something you’d like to do to help you start your cybersecurity career journey, we welcome you to our program. Again, we do not offer a money-back guarantee because of the nature of our product, so please decide accordingly. Thank you! :)
